Easing Lockdown Restrictions in England

On 22 February, the Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced the Government’s roadmap to cautiously ease lockdown restrictions in England. He said progress will be based on four factors: successful vaccine rollout, evidence the vaccine rollout is reducing hospital admission and death, that infection rates do not sure and that new variants do not increase risk significantly.  He stated that the Government will examine the impact of each change at four weekly intervals.
